9/11 ATTACKS On September 11, 2001 19 militants associated with the islamic extremist group al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against the United States. Almost 3,000 people were killed during that time. The other two attacks were in Pentagon outside of Washington D,C., and the other one was in the field of Shanksville, Pennsylvania. This situation triggered many people.  My first memory of 9/11 is when i learned about it in elementary then my om talked about it with me. i think it's a really sad position to be put in, no one deserved to pass away.
